The Main Lodge is built on top of a ridge near one of Illinois highest elevations, providing breathtaking views for miles around and the valley below.  No expense was spared during the construction of this stately lodge. The three level, architectural marvel was constructed with reclaimed beams and cobblestones from Chicago’s Navy pier in Chicago.  Every door, cabinet, shelf, trim and wood flooring was hand milled on site by skilled craftsmen. The lodge consists of nearly 10,000 square feet of living space and 2000 square feet of outdoor deck space. The floor to ceiling windows on both sides of the 28 foot high stone fireplace provide stunning views. The lodge consists of a post and beam construction and with the boulder and cobblestone accents there exists a rugged, yet warm and peaceful ambience. There are two master suites on the upper level with walk out decks. The main floor provides two more master bedrooms, a reading room, a master kitchen, dining area and great room. The lower level has a game room, two bunk rooms that sleep 4 and a large king master bedroom. There is also an additional one bed apartment on the lower level with a separate entrance.  The Main Lodge totals 8 bedrooms, 8 bathrooms and 3 kitchens! There are 6 rooms with king size beds.  The two rooms that each have 2 barn wood bunk beds sleep 4 in each room. Occupancy is 20 persons.
